The Visioning Symposium was a milestone in the Our
Future Mississauga initiative. Over two days at the
Living Arts Centre, more than 550 participants took
part in thinking big about the future of the city.
The symposium involved a great breadth of public
participants. The Mayor, Members of Council, the City
Manager and Commissioners and staff also participated.
The energy was contagious. Everywhere - in working
groups, in the Atrium, in the hallways, on staircases
- people were discussing the challenges and opportunities
facing their city, and sharing their dreams and aspirations
for Mississauga.
