Etobicoke Creek Trail
Running along Mississauga’s eastern edge and in parts through lands owned by Toronto Pearson International Airport, the 11-km Etobicoke Creek Trail offers visitors amazing views of wildlife, vegetation and incoming and outgoing aircraft.
The trail has seen recent improvements including some of its parts widened, existing trail surface paved as well as newly added rest areas. Wayfinding signage and counting technologies have also been added in an effort to improve user experience and to assess how well this trail is being used.
In addition, bicycle repair stations have been installed at Fleetwood Park and just north of the trail’s intersection with Britannia Road East.
