Keith Garebian

Keith Garebian is an award-winning author of twenty-one books of non-fiction and poetry. His ground-breaking studies of Hugh Hood, Leon Rooke, William Hutt, and classic Broadway musicals have earned him international praise. His poetry collections (Frida: Paint Me As A Volcano; Blue; The Derek Jarman Poems; Children of Ararat; and Georgia and Alfred) have earned him a high rank as a poet. He is the only three-time winner of the Mississauga Arts Award, and he has also won Scarborough Arts Council, Etobicoke Arts Council, CAA (Niagara Branch), William H. Drummond, and Surrey Writers International Poetry Awards, as well as the Naji Naaman Literary Honour Prize (Lebanon) and the William Saroyan Medal (Armenia).
