Jasmine Sawant

A member of Mississauga Writers’ Group and an award-winning alumnus of the journalism program of Bhavan’s Rajendra Prasad Institute, India, Jasmine Sawant started writing plays when she moved to Saudi Arabia. As Co-Founder and Artistic Co-Director of SAWITRI Theatre Group, Mississauga, Jasmine has written several plays, of which The Kallus Next Door was published in Word Fest, an anthology of the Mississauga Writers’ Group. One World Our World, a dance-theatre piece for children on stage in June 2015 in Brampton.
